Privacy

Short version: we don’t keep your searches, and we don’t track you across the web.

What we don’t store

  • The names you search and the reports we generate. A finished report sits in an in-memory cache for about 24 hours so an identical repeat run is instant, then it’s gone. Nothing is written to a database or to disk.
  • No accounts, no login, no history. There is nothing to sign into.

What the server does hold, briefly

  • A per-IP rate limit counter, so one visitor can’t exhaust the service. It resets on a rolling window and is not linked to anything else.
  • Standard, short-lived web server logs (IP, timestamp, path) kept only for operations and abuse handling.

Analytics

We run a self-hosted copy of Umami, a privacy-respecting analytics tool, served from our own domain. It sets no cookies, does no cross-site tracking, and collects no personal data. It records anonymous page views, referrers, rough country, device type, and whether an audit was started or completed (and its verdict). It never records the name you searched.

Third parties

  • The audit itself sends your candidate name and industry to our analysis provider (Anthropic’s Claude or Google’s Gemini) with web search, to research existing companies and trademark exposure. That request is not retained by us.
  • Domain and social-handle checks query public services (RDAP, DNS, and each platform’s public pages).
  • If bot protection is enabled, a Cloudflare Turnstile challenge may load on the tool page.

DeepNameSearch — a company-name check: trademarks, domains, handles, and more, in one report. Public, no login, one name per run, nothing stored.

Not legal advice and not a formal trademark clearance. Trademark risk here is a knowledge-based read plus deep links into the official registers — confirm anything that matters with a licensed attorney.
